This vehicle will be used to spotlight the best-unsigned bands in the Tri-State area with a live in-studio performance, a professional photo session, and a sit down interview with Aquarian Weekly writer and Chigger Radio host, Tim “Chigger” Louie. Tim has been a staple to the local music scene as a writer and a musician with knowledge of the New Jersey music scene that is second to none.

New Reality TV Series Proves You Are Never
Too Old To Get The Band Back Together!

Old Bridge, New Jersey – February 7, 2012 – The Primetime Emmy Award-Winning Production Company, *Pipeline39 Entertainment, held casting auditions for local musicians to find that one lucky band to star in a pilot for their upcoming reality TV show, tentatively titled, Getting The Band Back Together, which will be based out of Central New Jersey.

This newly created reality TV series is currently being pitched to major networks. It captures aspects of Rock ‘N’ Roll Fantasy Camp meets American Chopper all the while enlisting musicians who actually have successful careers and family life by day and become closet “rock stars” at night. The main focus will be on a chosen band, how they juggle “real life”, and how they handle a “second chance” at their dream of becoming rock stars.

The band selected for the reality series pilot is a local New Jersey band called Cashmier. Back in the ‘80s, Cashmier was one of the top bands on the circuit sharing the stages with bands like The Ramones, Anthrax, Twisted Sister, White Lion, Jackyl, Riot, Overkill and many more. Living the dream does not always last forever. They had a good run at the top before splitting up and giving up on their chance at being real life “rock stars” by getting married, having kids, and establishing full-time careers. Years later and after being invited to play a reunion show, the guys from Cashmier decided to take another stab at it. What can possibly happen when family life and careers have become priority and a renewed opportunity is given to these musicians to get the band back together for a second shot at “the dream”?

The pilot’s “main hub” for the musicians being spotlighted is a state-of-the-art rehearsal and recording facility called Aarius Studios, located in the heart of Central New Jersey. The bands selected will be given a full makeover – from recording, to promotions, to management – all courtesy of Aarius Studios! For years, Joe and Crystal Cattano nurtured a dream of creating a state-of-the-art music studio. They recognized a need for a place where dedicated musicians could hone their craft in a professional atmosphere; a place that is aesthetically pleasing to all the senses. That vision became a reality with the advent of Aarius Studios; a clean, multi-room rehearsal facility that includes affordable, full multi-track recording capabilities and top-of-the-line equipment. Today, Aarius Studios is the rehearsal and recording studio of choice for musicians encompassing the tri-state area. They have attracted musical superstars such as Biohazard, Black Label Society, Blondie, Corey Glover, Glen Burtnik, Lizzy Borden, Mindflow, and Tantric, just to name a few, who have utilized the studio.

“MUSIC TO BENEFIT ANIMALS” FUNDRAISER

How many ways can we say “thank you” to everyone? What a great and successful fundraiser!  The fundraising activities began on June 11^th, during our studio’s annual Open House featuring Core Device and our AARIUS Institute of Music (AIM) instructors.  It continued on Saturday, July 16^th, at Seven Days in Union Beach, NJ, with the AARIUS All-Stars (4420), Last Red Ember, Zodiac Mary, and Headbanger.  Over the past two months we were able to successfully raise $1,700 for the Associated Humane Societies (AHS)!

AARIUS Studios would like to extend our appreciation to all the bands that participated in this fundraiser benefit.  As much as we are “all about the music,” everyone came together to make this “all about the animals.”  It is with sincere gratitude that we say thank you to each and every one of you.

We would also like to give a big shout-out to our friend, John “JD” DeServio (Black Label Society / Cycle of Pain) for donating his valuable time, making himself available to us, and presiding over the selection of all the winning sweepstakes tickets on Friday, July 29^th, at AARIUS Studios.  JD was also kind enough to donate one of the prize giveaways.  Thank you, JD!
