Joe’s love of music began back in Staten Island when at a young age; he began to play on pots and pans. Eventually, he started taking drum lessons from his Uncle (Ben Cattano) who was a New York based drummer/band leader.
Joe’s professional music career finally became a reality when he started playing with area original bands in the late 80's and early 90's. He played in bands such as: LACEY PAGE, RITUAL, MAKARA and FROST BITE.
During his time with Frost Bite, Joe was endorsed by Main Line Entertainment (MLE) drumsticks. Joe also helped with the production on all the demo’s and releases for these bands as well as attending the Institute of Audio Engineering in Manhattan to become a Studio Engineer.
After the demise of Frost Bite in the late 90’s, Joe started playing with local cover bands - playing the “Jersey Shore” circuit. During this time, he noticed a need for a higher quality setting to rehearse. Very few (if any) studios in the area, offered a realistic set up to the musician.
Joe wanted to give to the rehearsing musician a sense of being on stage, to have a place where the musician can experience a true performance, with a drum riser, stage, stage lighting and a full backline and PA system.
Joe met Crystal in 2001 and in the fall of 2004 - they were married.
Crystal has over seventeen years experience in Business Management and Human Resources. She has extensive knowledge and expertise in HRMS/Financial products. In addition to her time at the Studio, she is currently employed as a Senior Business Analyst at a large financial institute in Hoboken, NJ.
After much searching - life and business partners, Joe and Crystal Cattano found the perfect location in Sayreville, New Jersey. AARIUS Studios is located at 4420 Bordentown Avenue; just one mile from the Starland Ballroom and (childhood) home of Jon Bon Jovi.
This new 6,000 square foot complex has become "home" to AARIUS Studios.

Jake comes from a long line of musically talented ancestry, paving the way to his love for music and talent as an engineer, composer and pianist. Both grandparents were internationally established artists. His grandfather, Umberto Vedovelli, excelled as a conductor and opea coach for La Scala Opera House in Milan and the Metropolitan Opera House in New York. Grandmother Flora, performed for years as a concert pianist with his mother Fulvia singing and playing the castanets.
Jake ultimately chose a more behind-the-scenes approach, giving him greater opportunity to work with many different and multi-talented artists.
